Job Scope

  • Providing technical expertise and oversight for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems in construction projects
  • Reviewing and approving M&E drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Monitoring and inspecting M&E installation work to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to M&E systems during construction
  • Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate M&E activities
  • Preparing reports and documentation to record project progress and M&E-related activities
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to M&E systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E systems design, installation, and project management in the LTA construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve M&E-related issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
