We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team at ZipaAdjust(s) PTE LTD in Singapore. We specialises in custom tailoring and alterations for Indian clothing, including saree blouses, salwar kameez, lehengas, and more. We cater to women, men, and children, delivering high-quality garments that blend tradition with contemporary style. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about Indian fashion and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


* Take accurate measurements and provide personalised recommendations for the best fit.


* Design and stitch Indian garments, including saree blouses, salwar kameez, lehengas, and other attire.


* Perform alterations, adjustments, and repairs according to customer requirements.


* Work with a variety of fabrics and ensure high-quality finishing and durability.


* Advise customers on fabric selection, styles, and fitting to achieve the desired look.


* Expertly handle saree pre-pleating, folding, and ironing for a polished and elegant finish.


* Operate and maintain sewing machines and other tailoring tools efficiently.


* Ensure timely completion of customer orders with keen attention to detail.


* Maintain a clean and organised workspace.


Requirements:


• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, specialising in Indian clothing and custom-made garments.


• Diploma in Fashion Design or a relevant field.


• Proven experience in designing and tailoring Indian clothing.


• Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction techniques.


• Proficiency in saree pre-pleating, folding, and ironing.


• Excellent sewing skills with a keen eye for detail.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


* Possession of a valid driving license.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


* Only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents may apply.

Position: Full-Time Fashion Designer


Location: 665 Buffalo Road, #02-110, Zhujiao Centre (Tekka Market), Singapore 210665


Working Hours: 6 days a week
