Cybersecurity in OperationalTechnology (OT) is a challenging but fulfilling field. Onechallenging aspect of this field is that it sits in intersection oftwo disciplines that usually do not intersect. Cybersecurity hasits origins in Information Technology (IT), while OT system andIndustrial Internet of Things (IIoT) are used by engineers tocontrol and monitor physical processes. Professionals withexpertise in both disciplines are rare. OT security is also afulfilling field because we have been tasked by our clients tosolve a broad range of issues including regulatory compliance,cyber risk assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, incidentresponse and more. We have been successful in delivering qualityservices to our clients because of our ability to constantly evolveand the teamwork between a good blend of our cybersecurity andengineering professionals.

JobResponsibilities:

You will beresponsible and/or if supervising others for thefollowing:
  • Performing risk assessmentor threat modelling for variety of industry control system, on-premIT and cloud systems.
  • Digesting sizableamounts of information about complex systems by using yourtechnical grounding in IT, OT/IIoT, engineering or cloud computing(e.g network architecture, firewall rules and etc) to assemble anaccurate understanding of the system.
  • Analysing and identifying the cybersecurity risksassociated to them e.g. how an attack might get into a network andcause disruption to operations or cause a dangerous situation inwhich safety might be compromised;
  • Workclosely with our clients in gathering information, providingclarification, and managing expectations on the task we arerequired to perform.
  • Providing securityrecommendations and improvement to the client in the currentpractices while considering impact to their operations andconcerns.
  • Performing other assessment/reviewfor clients including system/network architecture reviews andreviewing actual practices in OT/IT systems against regulatoryrequirements e.g. the Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCOP) forcritical information infrastructure.
  • Workingin a project team and closely guided by the experience teammember
  • Working closely with subject matterexperts in a wide range of cyber security services to delivered toour clients (e.g. managing projects involving penetration testingor red teaming exercises to an owner/operator of a criticalinfrastructure).


Theideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/ Information Security/Engineering/ Computer Science OR Information Technologyequivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevantexperience is recommended.
  • Experiencedcybersecurity professionals with keen interest or already withexperience in OT/IIoT; OR
  • Experienced SCADA orDCS engineers with relevant skills/experience/aptitude to furtherdevelopment in the field of cybersecurity; OR
  • Experienced Internet of Things (IoT) developers/testerswith relevant skills/experience/aptitude to further development inthe field of cybersecurity;
  • Certifications incybersecurity e.g. CISSP, CISM etc might beadvantageous;
  • Certifications in OTcybersecurity e.g. GICSP, GRID, IEC62443 might beadvantageous;
  • Committed to continuously learnand develop oneself in a fast-expanding field.
  • Aptitude of consulting including managing oneself,projects and clients.
  • Able to think logicallyand communicate clearly.
  • Effectiveinterpersonal skills and able to work well in a team.
  • Good presentation skills might beadvantageous.
