Job Description


SUMMARY:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist the lead Engineers supporting the fulfilment of OJJ production and cost saving objectives. You will work also closely with building, electrical/refrigerant and machine lead/ Engineers, and vendors on the general maintenance of the facilities and machineries.


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspection to ensure smooth operation of production facilities and equipment; including but not limited to electrical lighting, fire protection system, pumps, wheels, hoses, etc
  • Provide first level troubleshooting related to manufacturing
  • Perform daily housekeeping
  • Perform periodical updates on critical manufacturing items and consumables
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
  • Work closely with production personnel and highlight any observations to the team


Personal attributes

  • Polytechnic or ITE graduate or technical cert equivalent in mechanical or electrical
  • Prepared to learn on the job and take on any extra duties or works as and when assign
  • Willing to hands-on and work with tools
  • Experience in hot work preferred
  • Fresh graduates welcomed
