The A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential(A*STAR IHDP) focuses on research that aims to improve and impactthe health and well-being of Singaporeans across the life course.A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP) iscurrently looking for an ambitious Research Officer to work onprojects investigating obesogenic behaviours in earlychildhood.

JobResponsibilities

The successfulcandidate will provide research and administrative support to newand ongoing studies and will:
  • Analyseand present quantitative data from longitudinal cohorts
  • Lead systematic and scoping reviews
  • Lead data collection, management, analysis and day-to-dayadministration of new research projects
  • Contribute to research publications, book chapters andreviews
  • Contribute to the design of researchmaterials
  • Represent the research group atexternal meetings, either with other members of the group oralone

JobRequirements
  • Abachelor's degree in the relevant disciplines (e.g. Psychology,Behavioral Science, Nutrition)
  • Keen interestin the area of child development
  • Proficient inthe use of statistic software such as SPSS, R or others
  • Experience with systematic and/or scopingreviews
  • Excellent command of spoken andwritten English
  • Strong interpersonal skillswith enthusiastic demeanor
  • At least 2 years ofrelevant working experience within an academic or healthcaresetting is advantageous
  • Experience ofcontributing to research publications isadvantageous
