Our client leverage data science and analytics to drive business growth and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Data Scientist to lead data science team and develop cutting-edge data-driven solutions.


Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Team Lead Data Scientist to lead data science team and drive the development of data-driven solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data science, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing high-performing data science teams. The Team Lead Data Scientist will be responsible for leading the development of predictive models, data visualizations, and data-driven insights that inform business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of data scientists in developing and deploying data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers, to identify business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through data science.
  • Develop and implement effective data science processes and procedures to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of data-driven solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge in data science.
  • Conduct technical interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Develop and manage the team's budget and resource allocation plan.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues that could impact data quality and model performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols related to data privacy and security.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy data-driven solutions into production.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data science, with a focus on developing and deploying predictive models and data-driven solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing high-performing data science teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop effective data-driven solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks, including TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
  • Certification in data science or a related field.
