Requirements:

Applicantsshould have extensive industry and/or academic experience, apassion for teaching and preferably possess a Masters' degree, withthe relevant professional qualifications.

We arekeen on applicants with strong industry experience in carbonmarkets, with a strong focus on carbon project development. Priorworking experience in the capacity of a carbon projectdeveloper/proponent; standard bodies; validation and verificationbodies (VVBs); or carbon credit rating agencies; would be anadvantage. Applicants should have expertise in topics such as thecarbon project lifecycle; carbon project design parameters; carbonproject economics and financing; standards and methodologies;quality frameworks (e.g. ICVCM's Core Carbon Principles); andstakeholder and/or community engagement. An ability to articulatethe key trends and issues in the technological deployment of carbonabatement solutions would also beadvantageous.

Candidates should demonstrateteaching excellence at the undergraduate/graduate level and areable to engage in curriculum development and course administrationfor undergraduate and graduate sustainability courses. Candidatesshould have a passion for teaching, excel at teaching and workclosely with students. Candidates must have the versatility toteach multiple courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Candidates are expected to excel at teaching and service, workclosely with students, and contribute to practice-based researchand development of courses that leverage technology-enabledlearning. Appointment terms are for threeyears.
