The College of Computing & DataScience (CCDS) International Postdoctoral Fellowship (IPF),supported by Ministry of Education, provides opportunity for youngoutstanding Singaporeans to pursue an academic career in computing,artificial intelligence, and data science at the NanyangTechnological University (NTU), by supporting their postdoctoralfellowship abroad.
During the period of thepostdoctoral fellowship, the successful candidates will be employedas Research Fellows in CCDS. The appointment will take effect onemonth before they officially commence their IPF, for which theywill be fully sponsored and granted paid study leave of up to two[2] years. Upon successful completion of the postdoctoralfellowship, they will be appointed as tenure-track AssistantProfessors of the University.
The successfulcandidates are expected to develop and contribute domain knowledge,research skills and expertise at the host university whilefulfilling the requirements of the CCDS IPF. They will alsoactively seek out collaborative research opportunities with NTUfaculty and to participate in research projects, thereby deepeningthe strategic collaboration between NTU and the overseasuniversity.
FellowshipEligibility:
- Applicants mustpossess (1) at least a Second Upper Class Honours Bachelor ofScience or Engineering or equivalent qualification and (2) a PhDdegree in Science or Engineering, from reputable universitiesincluding NTU.
- Applicants must have proof ofexcellence in research.
- Applicants shouldaspire to develop successful academiccareer.
- Applicants are Singapore Citizens.
