Roles & Responsibilities

A company well established in the industrial plant and site maintenance activities, is looking for a maintenance planner to help manage the current contracts to the full satisfaction of the client(s).

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following:

  • Pick out the main KPIs from the contract and ensure that these are met
  • Work with existing staff to ensure that maintenance is carried out without any issues
  • Liaise with clients to make sure that customer satisfaction is met
  • Plan the maintenance schedule
  • Make sure that staff rotation is kept to a minimum especially in critical sites
  • Make sure that all tools and equipment are kept up to date

The successful candidate is expected to be tertiary educated and must be able to work independently and take ownership of problems and issues.

Since this involves dealing with clients, the candidate is expected to put on a professional image and be able to remain calm under pressure.
