Roles & Responsibilities

East Dragon Football Club is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Football Coach for Island Wide League (IWL) programme.


If you are a highly motivated, competitive and performance-driven with a strong understanding of IWL footballers' needs, we invite you to apply.


Main Responsibilities

  • Understand and prepare the team for IWL competition, analyse performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • To be responsible for the welfare of players in your care.
  • To adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures as outlined in the Safeguarding Sport in Singapore and report any safeguarding or welfare incidents to Academy Director.
  • To always act as an ambassador for East Dragon Football Club in the Community, representing in a professional manner.
  • To demonstrate a positive commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion and reporting any acts of discrimination.
  • Fulfill additional roles and responsibilities as required by East Dragon Football Club management when deem necessary.

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience of working with and/or coaching youth and young adults.
  • Experience of working as part of a team with other staff and/or coaches.
  • Good team player and able to communicate well in English.
  • Outgoing and approachable personality.

Qualifications

  • Holds a minimum Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Licence certification or equivalent.
  • Possesses a valid Standard First Aid + CPR/AED certification
  • Possesses a valid and Safeguarding Certificates.
  • Registered with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) - preferred.
  • Willingness to work during evenings and weekends for training and matches.

Pay will be calculated on a per-session basis.
