Job Summary

The Digital Content and Social Media Developer is a key role focused on creating and curating engaging content for the organization’s digital platforms. This position emphasizes content creation and social media management, driving audience engagement and enhancing the organization’s online presence. The developer will work closely with the appointed PR agency, collaborate with internal teams, and oversee the editorial direction for various digital channels, including social media and the corporate website. Additionally, the role involves capturing visual content through photography and videography, ensuring all materials align with the organization’s branding and communication strategy. The role includes but not limited to below:


Key Responsibilities


Content Creation and Curation

- Develop and produce high-quality, engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the corporate website, tailored to the interests of diverse audience segments.

- Curate relevant articles, graphics, and multimedia content that align with the organization’s messaging and objectives.


Social Media Management

- Manage and maintain the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent posting, audience engagement, and brand representation across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WhatsApp.

- Create and implement social media campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and organizational updates, fostering community interaction and increasing follower engagement.


Visual Content Production

- Capture high-quality photographs and videos for promotional use on digital platforms, ensuring all visual content adheres to organizational standards.

- Edit and process visual materials to enhance their appeal and effectiveness across various communication channels.


Editorial Oversight

- Oversee the editorial planning and content scheduling for digital publications, ensuring timely and relevant dissemination of information.

- Collaborate with writers, designers, and team members to ensure the quality and consistency of all content produced.


Website Content Management

- Assist in updating and maintaining the corporate website, ensuring it reflects current information, events, and organizational messaging.

- Support the creation of engaging web content that enhances user experience and aligns with the organization’s goals.


Email Communication

- Contribute to the creation of targeted email content for newsletters and announcements, ensuring it is engaging and informative for recipients.


Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to gather content, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

- Liaise with the PR agency for content ideas and media opportunities that enhance visibility.


Event Coverage

- Provide on-site support for events, capturing key moments through photography and videography to share on social media and other digital platforms.

- Assist in promoting events through engaging pre-event and post-event content.


Skills and Competencies

- Content Creation: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for diverse digital platforms.

- Social Media Proficiency: Experience managing social media channels, including content scheduling and audience engagement.

- Visual Content Skills: Proficiency in photography and videography, with experience in editing software to produce high-quality visuals.
