Lasik Technician

- Working days & hours: 5.5 days’ work week
- Mondy – Friday: 8.30pm – 5pm; Saturday: 8.30am – 1pm
- Location: Somerset (5 minutes’ walk from MRT)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate LASIK machines and perform tests on ophthalmic equipment (e.g., lasers, topography).
- Ensure the operating theatre and equipment are ready and functioning for surgeries.
- Prepare LASIK case notes a day before surgery.
- Schedule and maintain equipment, including dehumidifiers and laser machines.
- Handle front desk tasks like patient registration, payments, scheduling, and inquiries.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor.
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Optometry, Biomedical engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in operating ophthalmic equipment or working in a clinical setting is an advantage. (Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply too)
- Basic understanding of LASIK procedures and ophthalmic equipment is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
