We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Improvement Lead, you will drive improvements and change to reduce operating costs and/or meet increasing customer demands. The successful candidate will be required to work independently to lead and execute improvement projects in the Packaging IPT. Leveraging on MPS skills, the Improvement Lead will lead Operations and cross functional teams to deliver on opportunities and more importantly, instill the continuous improvement mindset within the organization. Key leadership attribute will be ability to influence and drive results through others.

In addition, the candidate will also be the Packaging Serialization business representative for the site. As the serialization lead, the candidate is expected to be knowledgeable in the end-to-end process for serialization, understand the different market requirement and lead serialization implementation projects for new products and/or market launches.

The successful candidate should be someone highly motivated, self-driven, technically competent and a strong problem solver. The candidate will be required to lead high complexity serialization investigation and ability to coach and guide teams for continuous improvement and problem-solving.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key Responsibilities

Improvements

  • Responsible to lead cross functional team to identify and implement improvements in Packaging IPT

  • Responsible to create and instill continuous improvement mindset within Packaging IPT

  • Drives deliverables to achieve operations metrics and targets.

Serialization

  • SME in serialization to understand end-to-end serialization and markets requirement.

  • Lead serialization implementation project for new products or new markets.

  • Lead and conduct high complex investigation (Quality Notification and Product Quality Complaint)

  • Participate in and support the implementation of actions for Investigations and Audits

  • Technically competent problem solver who is able to coach operations team / cross functional teams when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant Engineering Field

  • More than 5 years previous manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry.

  • Candidate that is resilient, curious, obsessed with knowing why things are the way they are and doing something with that knowledge.

  • Have a strong drive and leadership skills to get things done.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to coach the team through the problem-solving process.

  • Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
