Purchasing Officer

Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and updating of stock records, ensure optimum stock inventories at all times
- Issue purchase orders and schedule deliveries
- Track orders and ensure deliveries on schedule
- Prepare reports on purchases, monthly stock inventory & conduct cost analyses
- Develop and maintain Suppliers/Vendors relationship
- Constantly research and review purchase prices and develop new vendors
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales and admin team
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as purchasing officer or similar capacity
- Good knowledge in vendor sourcing practices (evaluating, liaising with vendors & research)
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Word & Excel, Navision as advantage
- Ability to conduct stock analysis, create cost analysis report
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge on supply chain and shipping procedures (inbound/outbound)
- Able to communicate in English, Mandarin and Malay an advantage
- Looking for candidates available to work:

- Thursday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
- Friday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
- Working rights required for this role
- Expected start date for role: 02 August 2024
- Expected salary: $1,800 - $2,800 per month
