Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

· Ensure that the Plant is constructed to the Drawings, Specifications, Applicable Standards, and Good Construction Practices & to Schedule and maintain records for final documentation

· Comply with the Company's Construction Methods, Procedures and Practices in all respects, particularly those relating to Quality Assurance, Safety, Personnel, and Industrial relations; where these are found to be inadequate immediately report the deficiencies and suggest solutions.

· Ensure timely and speedy resolution of problems encountered at Sites and monitor Corrective actions.

· Check the daily PTW system and make sure all activities shall be covered by PTW system

· Check the assigned activities at site and make sure works shall ongoing well with quality and safety & On-time

· Plan and prepare minimum in advance Manpower, Material, Machinery as per given task

· Work Progress Update And Mitigation Plan Discussing In Daily Toolbox Meetings and Weekly Meetings

· Supervises the multi-disciplinary construction project site team in accordance with requirements specified in the contract documents

· Works closely with overall project and construction management leadership to ensure successful delivery of Project
Works closely with construction and engineering management on coordination of inter / intra contract activities.

· Assess feasibility of time schedule and negotiates planning with parties involved.
Determines division of work, and controls quality.

· Initiates and leads improvements and is responsible for safety.

· Maintaining good relationships with The Client and contractors and solving project issues timely throughout construction tenure

· Read The ITP (Inspection And Test Plan) Of Each Activity And Make Sure Construction Quality Is Met For Each Activity.

· Plan and Prepare a construction sequence for the installation of Equipment’s, structure, and piping and agreed with clients and subcontractors.

· Review the Lifting plan and rigging plan in accordance to plan and approve.

· Installation of Equipment’s and structure will installed as per the plan.

· Supervise fabrication and erection of pipe spools and pipe supports as per latest issued construction drawing.

· Supervising Equipment installation and piping works to be performed by construction sub-contractor and to insure the compliance with established the construction activities.

· Evaluate the construction sub-contractor work capability according to the programs to be implemented and promote corrective action where necessary.

· Monitoring the progress with schedules and updating to Construction Manager.
Make daily man-hour consume by sub-contractor and estimate the modification activities

· Ensure the proper execution of inspection, test in accordance with the field quality control plan, and monitor the adequacy result.

· Organizing for preparation of piping systems for testing based on the test pack limits specified in the approved test packs.

· Attend final walkthrough of completed piping systems and verify clearing of all punch list prior to mechanical completion.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering or any relevant fields

· Relevant experience in Testing, Inspection and certification industry will be an advantage

· At least 3 years of relevant work experience

· Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills

· Good initiative, well organized, meticulous and able to work independently
