Description
The AP Regional Tax Director is a leadership position based in Singapore and reports to the Vice President, Global Tax Planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Region as a Tax Planning leadership team member.
  • Represent Tax as a Regional Finance Leadership Team member.
Be the lead and key contact for all material tax matters in the Region, including strategy, risk management, end to end governance, compliance and results.

  • Lead and develop a team of dedicated tax professionals across the Region to ensure collaboration and partnering with the broader Kenvue Tax organization, Enterprise Functions (Finance, HR, IT, Supply Chain, R&D) and the commercial business.
  • Develop, drive and own tax planning strategies in AP which manage the company’s overall tax risk profile, improve cash flow and deliver target results.
  • Manage and oversee Regional Corporate Income Tax Compliance, including processes, co-source provider, internal stakeholder connections, issue resolution and Regional contributions to Global processes.
  • Represent Regional Tax on Global workstreams (IT, Finance, Global Tax, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a strong combination of ownership, business understanding and a willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of Kenvue tax activity.
Manage the analysis, review and communication of AP factors impacting the Kenvue ETR.In collaboration with Transfer Pricing, shape, implement and monitor regional Transfer Pricing, intercompany transactions, and related documentation.

  • In collaboration with Global Disputes, manage local controversy, including specialist advisors
  • Lead legislative policy discussion efforts in AP for the company and in collaboration with industry associations, lead on incentive negotiations.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12+ years of tax and business experience is required.
  • Singapore and AP regional tax experience is required; experience working with a US-headquartered multinational is preferred.
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant, CPA and Accredited Tax Practitioner preferred.
  • Candidate must possess strong, open and collaborative communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional, non-tax personnel.
  • Experience leading teams and a willingness to get into the detail where critical is required.
  • Experience managing co-source providers is preferred.
  • Ability to switch priorities quickly and expedite key tasks to meet business needs and manage risk in a fast-changing external environment is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and promote innovation and continuous learning within the group is required.
  • The ability to anticipate changing requirements and effectively plan across the enterprise landscape is required.
  • Individual must work well in a team environment; be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
