Mobile Application Developer

ComfortDelGro’s Private Mobility Group (PMG) aims to synergise and leverage on its core strengths in land transport solutions, whilst making it easier for customers to gain access to the various services in the Group.
In order to do so, we are looking for a talented and passionate Mobile Developer (iOS/Android) to join us. You will be working with a team of engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. The end goal is that you should be able to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the entire mobile application development lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe modelsProduce fully functional mobile applications writing clean codeWork closely with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutionsGather specific requirements and suggest solutionsWrite unit and UI tests to identify malfunctionsTroubleshoot and debug to optimize performanceDesign interfaces to improve user experienceEnsure new and legacy applications meet quality standardsIdentify and plan for new featuresResearch and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocolsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fieldWorking experience as a Mobile developer for at least 2 year(s)Extensive knowledge about mobile app development, which includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)Deep knowledge of either Android or iOS, React Native or FlutterExperience with profiling and debugging mobile applicationsStrong understanding of optimizing performance on mobile appsExcellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude and motivated to pick up new skillsGood interpersonal skills and enjoy working in teamsStrong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlineFor iOS Developers
Proficiency with writing automated tests in e.g. JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etcFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networkingFamiliarity with the JSON formatFamiliarity with modularisationStrong knowledge of architectural patterns e.g. MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture, TDD and the ability to choose the best solution for the appFamiliarity with Git or any source code repository solutions and push notificationsUnderstanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differencesProficiency in Kotlin/Java/Swift/Objective-C/Understand modern analytics tools like Mixpanel, Clevertap and how it integrates with the mobile applicationFamiliarity with OOP design principlesFor Android Developers
Proficiency in Kotlin/Java/Swift/Objective-C/JavaScript/CStrong knowledge of architectural patterns e.g. MVC, MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture and the ability to choose the best solution for the appKnowledge of iOS design/development best practices, and experience with XcodeKnowledge of Android design/development best practices, and experience with Android Studio.Knowledge of layout and design principles (graphics, responsive layouts, animation, typography, etc.)Experience managing testing via continuous integration software like Jenkins, XCode Server, Fastlane, and Bitrise.Experience working in an agile or lean software development environment.Understand modern analytics tools like Google, Mixpanel, Clevertap, Appsflyer and how it integrates with the mobile applicationProficiency with writing automated tests in e.g. JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etc
