As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our airport's baggage handling infrastructure. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to providing a seamless travel experience for countless passengers daily.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the Baggage Handling System (BHS) equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the BHS system swiftly and effectively.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Comply with customer site rules and regulations, fostering a positive client relationship.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
  • Comply with airport regulations and safety standards while carrying out maintenance tasks.
  • Execute maintenance work efficiently and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Assist in equipment modification, replacement, and the installation of new assets.
  • Stay updated with the latest BHS technologies and actively participate in relevant training sessions.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.Proven expertise in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of industrial equipment, preferably in baggage handling systems or a related field.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical control panels, drives, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is highly advantageous.Experience in working with Material Handling Systems is an advantage.Excellent communication skills to foster effective teamwork and communication within the maintenance team and across the airport.Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure uninterrupted BHS operation.In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
