Sales Executive

Job Description

Department: Sales

Report to: Department Manager

Supervise: Executive

Functional Relationships with: Customers, Sales Customer Support, Factory, Logistics, Product Marketing, Sales Strategic Planning, Overseas Affiliates etc.

Position Profile:

Based in: Singapore

The successful candidate will:

• Be expected to: future-looking and drive demand creation activities for the channel businesses
• Support to setup and review key business objectives with channel partners periodically
• Maintain Control tower for business activities with disty partners within regions
• Support to oversees the Channel activities and ensure all plans are timely implemented
• Support to propose and develop motivational schemes for partners
• Support in partners’ competencies evaluations
• Service assigned global key accounts and contribute to internal global team’s initiatives
• Able to travel overseas (as when required)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To manage a group of customers assigned by the management and perform sales activities to achieve sales target of the sales division
• Sales activities include pre and post price negotiation activities, sales visits to customer, sales budget planning, monitoring of orders and payment, forecast reports preparation etc
• To develop and implement business plans to increase share and sales amount for each assigned account
• To develop multi-level business partnership with each assigned account and strive to achieve high level of customer satisfaction within the customer
• To work closely with internal functions (like marketing, customer service, logistic, production) to provide high level of sales service to assigned accounts

Ability / Competency Required:

• Business degree (Sales and Marketing) or Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics
• At least 5-years experiences in electronic component distribution business with proven track records
• Excellent Team player with good people management and development skills
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Aspire to achieve high level of individual performance along with a desire to serve the customers
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to perform multi-tasking
• Class 3 driving license (would be preferred)
• Leader with empathetic and strategic thinking qualities. Action taking with sound logics
• Goal oriented and result-driven
• The selected candidate will be leading 2 members
