What does a successful Product Manager, Carat do?

Carat is an ecosystem of omnichannel commerce solutions that delivers global payment opportunities across channels, devices and payment methods – securely and at global scale. As a product, technical, and market specialist for Carat, the individual is encouraged to provide thought-leadership and excellence in the sales and delivery of solutions in relation to assigned products:

  • Involved from conception through end of life for a specific product, product group or product line including product management, product development and business development.

  • Assist in tracking and reporting product performance throughout its life cycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization.

  • Manage product development process inclusive of product commercialization tasks required to bring product to market .

  • Assist in driving product development and enhancements including road map and statement of direction development.

  • Provide professional consulting service to clients, proactively driving value-based technical solutions and capabilities on sales engagements;

  • Influence product development on innovation roadmap strategy.

  • Drive revenue growth through linking customer requirements to Fiserv solutions and increasing scope of opportunity by designing differentiated solutions comprised of multiple products.

  • Drive channel sales-enablement through differentiated product messaging, solution-based sales training, and value-proposition driven positioning;

  • Responsible for maintaining a business focus on the day-to-day management of complex solution consulting support across the multi-channel sales pipeline for assigned product segments.

  • Consults on sales within assigned channels and products and services.

What you will need to have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in product management, sales, technical support and implementation experience with strong consultative and strategic sales support skill sets.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Self-motivated, mature and independent, able to handle multi-tasks and work well under pressure.

  • Strong problem solving skills and passion for talking with customers to understand their needs

  • A bias for outcomes doing whatever it takes to make your product and team a success
