Role Responsibilities
Job Scope
The successful candidate will play an important role in the development of multiple highly visible deliveries with the primary responsibilities around development activities. The candidate will be expected to take ownership, responsibility and accountability for deliveries. The candidate will work closely with the other team members and stakeholders to design and implement strategic solutions. The candidate is expected to work in a dynamic global team with developers, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities

General Skills
8+ years of experience in Java development. Hands-on experience with Java, Restful API design, and development. Experienced in end-to-end design, development, and support of large-scale data processing systems built on Oracle. Strong understanding of Data structure and Algorithm. Ability to work and liaise directly with the Front Office, Middle Office and various functions. Familiarity and confidence working in an agile development environment. Self-starter who can drive/facilitate requirements and development effort with the business. Role Specific Technical Competencies
Java 8 , Multi-Threading . Experience with technologies such as Kafka, ElasticSearch is a plus . Scripting programming in Linux shell, Python is a plus. Development experience on functional language, such as Haskell and Scala, is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps is a plus. About Standard Chartered
