Introduction
As a Frontend Developer in IBM, You will:
Work with Project management and solution architects to estimate and scope out projects.Work with Creative team during planning, discovery and production phase.Work with backend development team to create and optimize solution.Optimizing code for performance.Comment code and produce documentation to industry standards as needed.Produce code to the highest standards while adhering to industry accepted architecture and design pattern techniques and methodologies.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Expert in Build on React, Redux, Material UI, Redux Saga, recompose, reselect, react router.Should have expertise level experience in Frontend: React, Redux, Material UI, formik.Mobile: React Native, Android, IOS,At least 2+ years of experience in building Frontend ApplicationsAt least 2+ years of experience with React JS and/or Angular JS and/or Vue JSGood understanding of OOPs concepts.Strong hands-on knowledge on HTML5, CSS3, ES6+Strong understanding of the React Virtual DOM, JSX and APIHands on experience on REST APIs, GraphQL and WebSocketExperience with a State-management framework like Redux (with middleware) or MobXComfortable with concepts like Container/Presentation components, Higher Order Components
Desired Background:BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area required.3 + Years’ experience in React Native, Mobile Native Development (iOS & Android),Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques.Good experience of working with remote data via REST and JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Redux, Angular, Material UIEquivalent with Java training or certification with at least one (2) year experience in system analysis, design, and programming.Deep understanding of modern databases and strong data modelling skillsExperience with service-to-service API integration and consuming data from 3rd party SaaS application APIs would be an added advantage.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Preferably have completed at least one (1) project using Scrum or equivalent as the Agile software development framework if participating in an Agile development project.Effective oral and written communication skills in English with excellent interpersonal skills.Experience in analyzing info, and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.Knowledge and experience with REST APIs, creating API centric microservices applications, working and connecting with API.Proficiency in one or more API M platforms (WSO2 / Mulesoft / Azure/AWS API gateway/ Apigee).Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Spring boot / NodeJS / Python).Proficiency in one or more frontend framework (HTML5 / Angular / React).Experience developing on both mobile and web platforms.A proven track record of successful project/product implementation with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming, and Test-Driven Development.Experienced in Java 8, Scala.Knowledge in Redis, Docker, Jenkins, Teamcity, SVN, GIT, and GIT LAB.Knowledge in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, React, React Native, Redux, Angular, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot, C#, Python AWS Cloud, J2ee
