The Toy Folks is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible retail associate to join the team

We're looking for you if you love children, and are passionate about educational toys, puzzles, games and books.  We'd like for you to assist with managing one of our stores, and to start immediately. 

As a The Toy Folks Retail Associate, you will:

• Deliver a warm and welcoming experience for each visiting customer - young and old 
• Guide our customers in selecting suitable toys and books, by providing meaningful product recommendations
• Maintain the general housekeeping of the store, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the store and product displays
• Manage stock inventory, including regular product replenishment and stock takes
• Learn about the latest in children's educational toys, games, and books
• Strive to work together to meet our store sales targets

It is a bonus if you can:

• Produce content for socials - reels, posts, stories
• Create graphics and visual designs for digitals and socials

We're looking for you if you:

• Love working with kids and are passionate about educational toys, puzzles, games and books
• Possess a diploma with related experience in sales/customer service
• Have prior experience in retail (2 years or more)
• Work independently with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have a pleasant and cheerful disposition; are kind and respectful towards others
• Are customer-oriented, have a positive can-do spirit and tons of initiative

You will be required to work retail hours, 5 days a week, which includes weekends (11am-8pm, 11am-9pm on Fri/Sat).
