Job Summary:The Site Measurement Technician specializing in Doors and Windows is responsible for accurately measuring door and window openings at construction sites or existing structures. This role involves assessing dimensions, configurations, and other relevant factors to ensure precise fitting and installation of doors and windows. Responsibilities:1. Conduct on-site measurements of door and window openings, including width, height, and depth, using appropriate tools and techniques.2. Document accurate measurements of existing structures or construction sites, accounting for variations and irregularities.3. Assess site conditions and factors affecting door and window installation, such as wall thickness, framing materials, and structural integrity.4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to address measurement-related challenges and develop solutions as needed.5. Communicate measurement data and findings effectively to project stakeholders, including suppliers and manufacturers, to facilitate product selection and customization.6. Maintain organized records of measurement data, site reports, and project documentation for future reference and analysis.7. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working on construction sites or in occupied buildings, ensuring a safe and secure work environment for all personnel.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction, architecture, or related fields preferred.2. Proven experience in site measurement, preferably with a focus on doors and windows or related building components.3. Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment, such as tape measures, laser levels, and digital calipers.4. Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications related to doors and windows.5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in gathering and recording measurement data.
