About the role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our Marketing Communications team as interns. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of marketing and communications for a global Muslim audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Assistance:

Assist in managing and curating content for our social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Monitor social media trends, engage with followers, and help maintain a consistent online presence.

Collaborate with team members to develop and execute social media campaigns.

2. Project Management Support:

Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing campaigns, events, and projects.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking project progress.

3. Content Creation and Copywriting:

Assist in creating compelling content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Proofread and edit content to maintain quality and consistency.

Help develop messaging and copy for marketing campaigns.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Assist in collecting and analyzing marketing data and metrics.

Prepare reports on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Use data insights to make recommendations for improvements.

5. Administrative Tasks:

Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Communications team.

Assist in scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing departmental files.

Handle other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a relevant tertiary program (university/polytechnic/ITE) or is a recent graduate.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing principles.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) preferred

Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
