We are on the lookout for talented individuals to join our growing teamThe Web Developer Intern Role:sgCarMart is looking for a Web Developer Intern to join our 100-strong sgCarMart team During your internship, you will work closely with our team of experienced web developers to participate and contribute in the entire web development life cycle - planning, design, coding, testing, review and finally, the launch where you bring ideas to fruition. If you are driven and passionate about website creations AND willing to put in the hours to learn (we're not going to lie - this will be challenging yet fulfilling at the same time), we're happy to have you onboard our teamDaily life as an Intern at sgCarMart:You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of web-based projects using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, JQuery, etcAssist the IT team to develop, manage & maintain our websites (Includes troubleshooting and bug fixes)Learn how to conduct user acceptance tests for change requests, bug fixes and new features to ensure our website is optimized for cross-browser usageAd-hoc daily tasks (ads activation, microsite changes, etc)Conduct research to improvement development process (QA script for automation testing)Work alongside cross-functional teams to design and implement new functionalitiesRequirements:Current Information Technology or Computer Science student in Local Polytechnic or University (or relevant disciplines)Proficient in LAMP (Linux, Apache HTTP Server, MySQL, PHP), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML/HTML 5Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHPAble to write standard-based, semantic HTML and CSS and modern layouts using table-less designCommitted to producing well-commented and structured codePassionate and positive, with a can-do attitudeBenefits of joining sgCarMart as an intern?Opportunity to be part of the 100-strong sgCarMart teamHands-on experience to hone your expertise and methodologies which you have learned in school, and learn about the tricks of the tradeTraining and mentorship opportunities with our team of experienced web developersDemonstrate your job readiness by developing a portfolio while working on real-world projectsInterns can be expected to challenge themselves as you will be doing actual design work and be treated as part of the sgCarMart familyInternship Start Date:Sept 2022 onwardsInternship Duration:3 - 6 Months WelcomeInternship Allowance:$800 to $1,000 Per MonthWork Location:61 Ubi Avenue 2 #07-06 Singapore 408898Working Hours:Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pmHow to Apply:If you would like to join us as an intern, please submit your resume/CV to careers@sgcarmart.com
