Supplychain Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing, evaluation and procurement of supplier
• issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers on changes to orders and confirmation of orders
• Process and verify delivery orders and invoices
• Coordinate with teams to verify that purchased materials adhere to specified standards.
• Resolve quality issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
• Work closely with production planners to anticipate material needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain and upkeep inventory control
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Preferably with prior experience in similar role in Fnb
• Preferably have knowledge in food safety
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to speak and write Mandarin/Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleagues and suppliers
• Team player who is able to work independently
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multi-task and handle high volume of work in fast paced environment
