JOB SCOPE

Assists the floral department, with orders, receiving, reporting, daily billing, email correspondence, special requests and maintaining administrative data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for forwarding and receiving all information pertaining to the department.
  • Receive, record, and distribute various reports / information.
  • Receive, record, and transmit guest requests accurately.
  • Maintain and update administrative data.
  • Assist with daily supplies order and financial reports.
  • Respond to special requests for functions, outlets and guests in a timely manner through emails and telephone conversations.
  • Maintain monthly attendance records.
  • Coordinate & follow up with other departments.
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by superior.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Marina Bay Sands policies and within the realm of the Marina Bay Sands Company vision, mission, and values.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  • Minimum secondary school graduate

Experience

  • At least 1 year in a similar role in a Deluxe Hotel Floral/Housekeeping or related environment.
  • Ability to successfully operate in a large-scale high-pressure environment with sudden change in business levels.

Competencies

  • Possess a good command of spoken and written English & Mandarin to communicate with fellow Chinese speaking colleagues and give clear instructions over the phone & email for work purpose.
  • Able to obtain and ensure appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity and environment preferred.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent customer service attitude.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, during weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication and motivational skills.
