The Guest Room Ambassador performs cleaning duties to maintain all hotel guest rooms efficiently. 

Our Expectations:

  • Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including making of beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and follow up on guest requests.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to health standards.
  • Collect daily allocations of rooms and keys. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift, and keys are signed out & kept securely.
  • Clean and maintain corridors, service areas, replace amenities in guest room if necessary and disposes off rubbish correctly.
  • Report promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department and to their respective Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
  • Report any odd occurrences, irregularities, carpet cleaning requirements, pest infestations, etc. to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper promptly to counter loss to the company.
  • Maintain knowledge of the hotel and local area.
  • Provide Turn Down Service when required.
  • Undertake other duties as requested by Department Head.
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts including Public Holidays and weekends.
