As a Tech Developer, you will provide technical analysis and develop solutions to support the manufacturing processes. Your main responsibilities include managing the deployment, testing, validation, performance, operations, and continuous improvement of all technical, engineering and manufacturing applications. This exciting role also focuses on the site Digitalisation and Innovation program.Responsibilities:
Understand complex theories, contribute to improving the performance of the Manufacturing Excellence systems and products / process efficiency.Promote business continuity by ensuring that applications within Manufacturing Excellence Products are:Fit for purpose (e.g. easy to use and reliable) and support the evolving business processesCost effective – Total cost of ownership is at an optimal levelMeets an agreed Risk Profile (e.g. aging of technologies, controlled regulated applications, aligned with business continuity).Resolve operational issues across sites through making appropriate decisions and provide technical support. Participate in root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying issues.Assist the site tech teams with tech definitions and priorities tech systems for the plants.Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and external service providers. Provide timely updates on disruptions and any major amendments to the provision of services.Operate in a flexible, agile way to drive efficiency and improvements to the Manufacturing, Technical, Engineering and Quality and Lab Products.Requirements:Minimum diploma/degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar discipline. You will have at least 3-5 years of working experience in the relevant fields.Experience with manufacturing execution system (MES), application management, operations, and/or support including knowledge and experience of Incident, problem and change management.Experience in digitalization, managing data platform (including data lake, big data management, data ETL, data analytics); familiar with software ecosystems, programming, and workflows – preferably in Azure.Strong understanding of VFQ and Agile Methodologies. Familiar with Six Sigma/Lean Sigma processes and tools, GxP and Sarbanes Oxley regulated applications.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, MS SQL Server DatabasesWhy GSK
