Work you’ll do

 

A team player to the Controlling Function of Deloitte Consulting South East Asia (“DSEA”), the incumbent is responsible for accounting, controls, statutory and tax reporting matters of our Singapore entity.

 

Responsibilities:


Support Finance Operations team on daily operational matters in the areas of management and statutory accounting which entail:

 

  • Client & interfirm billings.
  • Knowledge in Singapore tax regulations.
  • Manage operational processing relating to payment cycle example processing and payment of invoices and staff claims.
  • Coordinate with shared services centre to support the smooth processing of outsourced tasks.
  • Tracking and reconciliation of various financial transactions in the areas of accounts payable, inter firm and inter company payables.
  • Ensures accounting and tax compliance with local and government requirements.

Work requirements

 

Requirements

 

Experience in the following areas is highly regarded:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting with at least 6 years working experience in related background.
  • Experience with bookkeeping practices.
  • Good administrative & organisational skills.
  • Attention to details and ability to detect irregularities.
  • Able to prioritise work efficiently with communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Must display professionalism, confidence and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
