Candidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years of experience and  minimally perform the following administration activities for VMware and Hyper-V hypervisor servers and to automate them if possible: (a) Manage hypervisor servers, listeners, services and network connectivity; (b) Manage connections to hypervisor servers, databases and other systems; (c) Perform fault and performance management; (d) Respond to monitoring alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting when required; (e) Review the hypervisor server logs for high-priority events and messages; (f) Housekeeping of all hypervisor server log files; (g) Manage and maintain the hypervisor server security settings, policy and authentication as specified by the Authority; (h) Perform hypervisor server patch management (i) Work with Authority and Authority-appointed Supplier in identifying hypervisor server related issues;(j) Document and maintain hypervisor server administration guides and SOPs;(k) To support the hypervisor servers used by agency, not limited to Nutanix, VMware and HyperV; and(l) Perform hypervisor security patching.  The Candidate shall provide full support to the Authority during the conduct of any security audit activities. This shall minimally include:(a) Providing all necessary information to the auditors upon the approval of the Authority, e.g. IP addresses, system inventory, and system configuration information;(b) Escorting the auditors and facilitating access to the systems being audited within the approved premises;(c) Assisting the auditors to capture screenshots from systems being audited, or to provide specific configuration files as required by the auditor;(d) Assessing if the audit tools have any negative impact on the systems being audited, and to inform the Authority accordingly;(e) Supervising the auditor in the running of audit tools on the systems being audited, as required by the Authority; and(f) Any other task that is required for successful completion of the security audit activities.RequirementsCandidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years of experience and  minimally perform the followingThe Systems Engineers for Windows shall minimally perform the following system administration tasks and automate them to the extent possible:(a) User administration including administration of FTP/ SFTP accounts and granting access to files and directories;(b) Manage and maintain system utilities and scripts;(c) System configuration management including modifying system settings and drive mappings;(d) Administer network print servers and queues;(e) Manage batch jobs;(f) Server patch management;(g) Troubleshoot performance issues;(h) System security administration such as      i. Monitor and perform TLS certificate renewal for the systems; and      ii. Manage the encryption / decryption keys for the server;(i) Escalate hardware fault and software error to Authority-appointed Supplier;(j) Management of system logs and document and maintain server administration guides and SOPs;(k) Escort vendor to the data centre(l) Support operating system in ON premises, DR premise and any other remote premises identified by the Authority, not limited to RedHat(any version), Solaris(any version), Windows(any version), Linux(any version); and(m) Work with the Authority-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance servicing, repair and upgrading works in the infrastructure at ON premises, DR premise and any other remote premises identified by the Authority.
