Sr. UX designer

•    Based in Singapore, the regional hub for Asia Pacific (AP) and top-ranked biopharmaceutical company on The Straits Times and Statista’s list of Best Employers in Singapore for two consecutive years (2020, 2021). 
•    Join the premier biopharmaceutical company that has been in Singapore for more than 25 years and in AP for over 60 years.

As a UX/UI designer, you will collaborate with fellow UX designers and UX researchers within the product and UX team, specializing in mobile and web application design. Your primary role involves taking charge of the UX design process and leveraging your UI design expertise to contribute to the broader user experience strategy. By communicating directly with stakeholders, you'll build strong bonds between teams to ensure our designs are excellent for all kinds of projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Define and promote UX design best practices within the organization.
  • Assist with user research.
  • Bring knowledge of visual design principles into the UX design process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, product owners, business analysts, UX researchers, visual designers, and others to deliver a great user experience. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers to guarantee the smooth execution of designs.
  • Continuously improve the user experience of the products based on feedback and data.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • experience design or similar role.
  • Portfolio showcasing at least 2 User experience design projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma (Primary Tool), Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software for visual design, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in core visual design principles, including layout, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, pattern design, grid systems, and iconography.
  • Enhance product user experience continually by incorporating feedback and analyzing data.
  • Experience in interaction design through various prototyping methods, including rapid, low-fidelity, high-fidelity, and interactive prototyping.
  • Demonstrate expertise in utilizing design systems and component libraries effectively.
  • Showcase proficient visual design skills, including the creation of custom design elements.
  • Display strong abilities in information architecture and interaction design
  • Excellent communication, presentation, Facilitation and Negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to share and accept feedback respectfully.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional and cross-geography teams.

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Prior hands-on experience with AI tools and prompt engineering.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
